I don't know why he does this, but if I'm watching TV, even after he played with my daugher he stares at me and starts barking loud, then jumps on me and usually comes after my ears or hair. I tried to ignore him, but it just gets worse.
Sometimes I just give up, and leave.
Any suggestions?
My dog is 8m old, when I sit on the couch or I'm on my bed, he first stares at me, barks, and bites me?
He wants one of two things - to go out or for you to spend time with him. He realizes you are the dominate (alpha) one.
Have you tried brushing him or sitting on the floor and gently petting him? Perhaps you and your daughter could take him for a walk together in the evenings. He definantly needs more attention than your daughter is giving him. Be patient - he is growing and maturing by the minute.
Oh and if you just leave, then he has trained you and not the other way around. We cleared our throats every time our puppy misbehaved and scolded him gently. He learned very fast not to be obnoxiuos.
Hope this helps.

It sounds like he wants you to play with him.

It's a usal puppy thing, don't worry. He just wants your atteion. My dog did it for a while to. But you still have the scold him. If he bites calmly hold him down, and pet him until he calms down.

You have actually trained him to do it. You allow it and he wins over and over so why wouldn't he do it? He has trained you very well :) Find a good trainer and learn how to train your dog so that he will be a good social member of society.
If some guy was doing this to you, would you just 'ignore' him?
