will be clean to have inside the house. I want a toy dog that doesn't poop a lot that his hair wouldn't fall off often, etc. In other words, I want a dog that doesn't require a lot cleaning(honestly, I don't have the time, but I would really want a toy dog. Thanks.

Well, first you have to consider the responsibility for any animals you get, especially if you choose a dog. The best small dog you could get would probaly be a Toy Poodlle, even then, all dogs require care.

If you don't have the time to clean then you don't have time for a dog I would suggest a goldfish. I have a 4lb Chihuahua and she sheds more fur then she has, all dogs do unless you get a hairless.

I've got one of them, great little dogs. Their hair is about medium length, but they don't noticeably shed. Not that I've ever noticed atleast.

Get a pet ' ROCK ' ....you don't have time for a real pet. Dogs are like children.....you shouldn't just leave them alone to go through life. They require attention and you can give them up when you get tired of them.

get your self a nice stuffed dog they dont poop or shed or do anything wrong, but for real the dont breed dogs the dont poop or shed these things happen so if your not ready for shedin or more so the poopin you are not ready for a dog

then get a cat. they are easier to mess with and then there is no walking , poo is kept confined to litter box, and not lots of hair.

All young puppies poop around 6 times a day, on your carpet, your rugs and sometimes even your clothes. Plus they pee on your bed and make huge pools on the wooden flooring. They need training to learn to go outside, which = time. Weeks of picking up dog mess and buying loads of air fresheners and disinfectants. It's not pretty. Adult dogs do big stinky poops aswell. There's no getting away from the bad bits of dog ownership.

if you dont have time to clean then getting a dog is not the right thing for you to do. No matter what dog you get they are going to poop in the house when they first start to potty train and if you dont have the time for that then you dont have time for a dog.

my sister got a bischon frise because her children have allergies and needed a dog who didn't shed hair,he's quite a character whatever dog would need lots of care and attention there are loads of unwanted toy and crossbreds in rescue centres often these have wondreful tempraments.An older dog would be better than a puppy because house training is a nightmare.

Then, you are in for a rude awakening. Dogs take a lot of attention and if you don't even have time to clean, then I wouldn't suggest getting a dog. Why not a cat? Cats clean themselves and use litter boxes. You aren't going to find a low maintenance dog. I'm sorry. They all pretty much shed (unless they are hairless i guess) and puppies ALWAYS poop in the house. They chew things, they pee on things, and they need attention. A lot of attention.

Pomeranians, papillions, wheaton terriers are very good dogs that hardly ever shed their hair.
