My dog is a Min pin mix with chihuahua. She is black. I would say thicker hair not really thin. she is 7 years and gets cyst on her head alot. dr. said it was normal for min pin breads. they go away on their own. and yes they do. i started noticeing something on the mussel area of nose. i thought it was another cyst. but tonight i notice its not a bump. it looks like she is haveing a bit of hair loss. like three spot, not really a circle. you can see white skin coming through. i thought ring worm, but she is not itching it and i see no pink. i have heard of collie nose, but she has never had this issue before and she lays in the sun aften. if she gets hot she leaves. I thought hot spots, but i have never heard of them on the nose. i thought mange, but my goodness she is not around other dogs to have this issue. she is a house dog. she has been lactating but thats normal, she has ahd false pregnancys in the past because she has never had a litter. can it be horimonal. anyone.

Go to the vet!! One of my friend's dog (also small breed) had the same kind of symptoms. The poor dog lost all her hair and looked like a rat lol! But I think it is preventable, just see your vet as soon as possible.
