If there is mold in your house it wouldn't be necessarily visible.
Since mold can be harmful to your health as well as your dogs, you should call someone who can inspect the walls of the structure to see just how much mold there is and where the root of the problem is located.

See the vet! Boxers are prone to Thyroid dysfuntions and may require regular medication. Have the liver tested, and test for cushing's disease. I have seen patient boxers that loose their hair and have major problems, or it may be simple fleas or an allergy.. Dont' chance it! See the vet,\.

My old dog had something like this. Some vets don't know it. She was mis-diagnosed by one vet. Get a second opinion.

It could be a couple things. Food quality sometimes give skin problems for dogs. Dogs have allergens to some food just like a human. Feeding your dog a more premium food gives your dog a better healthier skin and coat.
Non- premium food sometimes has things that your dog shouldn't eat, or things that don't benefit them.
OR
Sarcoptic mange (scabies)
You should have skin scraping and blood work done to find out what's up with your dogs.

Did you vet consider doing a skin scrape for mange?? That would probably be a good idea!
