For you AND the people who have told you to take your dog to a groomer, I'd like to speak on behalf of the groomer, since my step-daughter is a professional groomer.

If your dog will bite YOU if you cut her hair, then she will bite the groomer. Last week, my SD had -2- dogs bite her. Both dogs were then picked up by animal control and put in quarantine to prove that they did not have rabies. The second dog bite her at the lip, and has caused such damage to her that she needs plastic surgery. These owners never told her that their dogs bite when being groomed. Both these owners are legally responsible to pay for all her medical care.

If you have a really aggressive dog, you should either get it FAST to a behaviorist for aggression training to break her of this dangerous habit, -OR- put the dog down. She's dangerous to you and if she injures others, YOU are legally responsible for all injuries your dog causes to other animals and humans.

If this dog is so aggressive that you cannot control her to trim her hair, then she should be put to sleep. You are NOT Alpha Pack Leader, obviously and that has caused your dog to become a vicious, aggressive danger to society. If you don't know how to control a dog that you own, then you should NOT have dogs.

A professional groomer, either specific to groomer or most veterinarians offer grooming services especially for aggressive dogs, would also be a good start.

i agree w/ CF shell out the$ fora groomer if u had started taking ur dog to the groomers from the minute of owner ship he would already b use to the fact that someone is grooming him i get alot of praise from my groomers for having such a relaxed pup when hes getting groomed remember u still have to clean his ears %26amp; his butt if hes not letting u cut his hair what makes u think its gonna get eazier for the rest of his body GO TO THE GROOMERS %26amp; TELL THEM HES A BITER!
