My dog, a golden retriver mutt, is licking his leg so much that the hair is gone where hes liked and its red,raised,and inflamed. We have even wrapped his leg and he chewed it off and licked it more!! Please help!

Take him to the vet!!! He might have an infection and needs meds. Or he could've been bit by something (like a bug). Definitely take him in! He's probably miserable!!!

Probably it is feeling some discomfort from that area. You should go to the vet to get it checked. Something is wrong with that part.

Check your dogfood.. Might be crappy dogfood, allergies to the food..

Might be ring worm, might be mange, might be fleas... Might be might be might be....

The vet will be able to give you the correct answer ...
