Hair dye smell?

my husband and i have a room in our house were we keep an about 80lb dog because are fence had been detroyed by a fallen tree. We recently discovered like hair dye smell coming from the room- an pneumonia type smell. The dog had gotten ahold of an old laptop and chewed through the battery, we were wondering if this could be it? if not what else could put off this smell? we just cant figure it out?!? thank you

piss especially if you got them 12 by 12 tiles on the floor.it seeps through the cracks and stays moist.could be the same with that battery

Could be dog urine if you meant "ammonia type smell". Either way a little house hold bleach and water mixture (if surface is not fabric or wood ) in a well ventilated room will neutralize it. Just get out of the house until the smell disapates.

I would say definately dog urine, its awful especially if you havn't realised he has done it and it dries, the smell of amonia can be quite overpowering. Think the chewed battery just coincidental.

If the floor can take it I would use Jeyes Fluid, then once dry a nice smelling floor cleaner as Jeyes is pretty over-powering too.
